VCL Network-MouseTrαp^TM is an essential network security and forensics tool that enables users to detect firewall breaches and unauthorized network intrusions in their network, in real-time.

• VCL MouseTrαp^TM and Advanced Honeypot is designed to detect and provide alerts to the network administrator of a network intrusion or cyber-attack in near real-time.
• Special focus on detecting network intrusions and cyber-attacks on Power Utility installations and SCADA networks.
• It can be programmed by the user to emulate (i.e. to appear to an attacker) as a SCADA Server, Relay, IEC-61850 Protection Relay, IEC 60870-5-104 Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), MODBUS RTU Server, Router, Switch, Data Storage Device, ATMs and other devices used by financial organizations.
• It generates an audio and visual alarm upon detecting a hostile presence in the network.
• It provides forensics including attacker trace root. It maintains a complete log of intruder credentials such as IP address, domain and the originating location details. Each log entry is time-stamped with exact time and date of each such incident of unlawful intrusion.
• Multiple Network-Mouse-Trαps™ may be installed by the network administrator at various vantage points in their network to attract the “hostile” elements / network infiltrators.
• It also assists in identifying and isolating the source of problem / points of customer’s own network vulnerability by providing a trace route of the intrusion to assist with real-time forensic analysis.
